Stump Grinding in the Mountain Communities
We bring in equipment to grind down what is left of a stump after removal.
A stump left in the ground gets in the way of mowing, planting and building, and can attract pests as it decays.
Grinding removes the stump below the surface so the area can be filled, seeded, or built on. We bring in the equipment to do it after a removal or on stumps from earlier jobs.
Tell us about access: gates, slopes, and distance from the street all affect how the machine gets to the stump.
Serving Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, Hesperia, Highland and Rialto, plus surrounding areas.

Common questions
Do I have to grind a stump after tree removal?
No, it is optional. Many people grind to reclaim the space, prevent trip hazards, or prepare to plant.
Can you grind old stumps from trees someone else cut?
Yes, give us a call with the location and size and we can tell you what is involved.
What happens to the ground afterward?
Grinding leaves wood chips and loosened soil where the stump was. We can talk through leveling and what to do with the chips when we quote it.
