Tree Pruning in the Mountain Communities

Meticulous, methodical pruning that promotes airflow and the long-term health of the tree.

Pruning is selective removal of specific limbs to improve a tree's structure, health, or clearance. Done well, it leaves the tree looking natural, not hacked.

Typical reasons we prune: removing dead or broken limbs, thinning crowded branches so air and light move through, lifting low limbs off roofs and driveways, and reducing weight on limbs that look overextended.

We assess each tree before any cut: species, structure, how it has grown, and what it is near. Pines, oaks and cedars in the mountains all respond differently, so the plan is tree by tree.

Serving Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, Hesperia, Highland and Rialto, plus surrounding areas.

Common questions

What is the difference between pruning and trimming?

Pruning focuses on the health and structure of the tree by removing specific limbs for a reason. Trimming is more about shaping and thinning. We often do both in one visit and will explain which is which in your estimate.

Can pruning save a tree I thought I had to remove?

Sometimes. If the problem is deadwood, crowding, or a heavy limb, pruning can fix it. If the trunk or roots are compromised, removal is the safer answer, and we will tell you which one we see.
