Tree Guying and Support in the Mountain Communities

Instead of removing a tree that leans dangerously over a structure, we can guy it back for support.

Guying uses properly rated ropes or cables anchored to hold a leaning tree in a safer position. It can be a way to keep a sound tree that would otherwise have to come down.

It is not right for every tree. We look at the lean, the roots, the soil, the trunk, and what the tree is near. If supporting it will not make it safe, we will tell you removal is the better choice.

Support systems should be checked over time, and we can talk through what that looks like for your tree.

Serving Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, Hesperia, Highland and Rialto, plus surrounding areas.

Common questions

What is tree guying?

It is anchoring a leaning tree back with rope or cable so it stays upright. It is an option when the tree itself is healthy but its lean puts a structure at risk.

Will guying work on any leaning tree?

No. Trees with damaged roots, rot, or a failing trunk need removal. We evaluate each one honestly.

Is guying cheaper than removal?

It depends on the tree and the site, so we quote each job individually. Call or text (909) 907-4038 for a free estimate.
